Legal & Operational Notice

Operational Boundaries & Liability Release

LayerOrder Fieldbook provides procedural guidelines, laser cutting hierarchies, speed/power matrices, and hardware diagnostics solely for technical education. Review these non-negotiable operational boundaries prior to applying any instructions.

Independent Resource

We are an independent technical publisher. LayerOrder is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or legally representing CNC hardware makers or proprietary CAD/CAM software developers.

Jurisdiction Educational Scope

Laser Hazard Protocol

Laser emission and material combustion pose immediate fire, blindness, and hazardous off-gassing risks. Machine operators retain sole responsibility for exhaust ventilation and active fire monitoring.

Class Rating Class 1 & Class 4 Safety

No Guaranteed Feedrates

Focal length, diode tube decay, air-assist pressure, and optical alignment dictate cutting yield. Published feed rates and power percentages are baselines and must be validated per project.

Calibration Mandatory Pre-Flight

Detailed Terms of Technical Guidance

1. General Information Only

All instructions, vector order methodologies, parameter cheat sheets, and diagnostic walk-throughs published on LayerOrder Fieldbook are supplied exclusively for general informational reference. While we test and cross-verify recommended sequence priorities (such as inner geometry clearance before boundary cutouts), real-world workshops differ extensively in optical power, beam divergence, ambient humidity, and electrical stability.

2. Physical Equipment and Operator Safety

Laser cutters, CNC routers, air-assist compressors, and fume extractors are hazardous industrial devices. You, the machine operator, are entirely responsible for wearing calibrated optical safety glasses rated for your specific laser wavelength (e.g., 450nm diode, 1064nm fiber, or 10.6µm CO2), maintaining operational CO2 or Halotron fire extinguishers, and ensuring proper toxic exhaust handling. LayerOrder Fieldbook accepts zero liability for fires, machine damages, lens ruptures, injuries, or personal health consequences resulting from operational testing.

3. Trademark Notice & Third-Party Mentions

Product names, registered trademarks, and logos referenced across this documentation (including LightBurn, Ruida, GRBL, OMTech, xTool, Sculpfun, and others) belong to their respective proprietary owners. Their citation here serves solely for identification, operational analysis, and configuration assistance under nominative fair use doctrine. LayerOrder Fieldbook does not assert any corporate alliance or authorized technical sponsorship unless explicitly indicated.

4. Material Testing Caution

Never vaporize synthetic plastics containing polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl, or halogenated polymers. Doing so produces hydrochloric acid fumes that permanently corrode laser gantry rails, optic mirrors, and cause severe respiratory trauma. LayerOrder Fieldbook explicitly disclaims all responsibility for equipment damage or bodily injury resulting from processing unrecognized or non-laser-safe materials.
